Ocean Alexander Yachts was established in 1977 by Alex Chueh in Taiwan as Alexander Marine Co. Ltd. Ocean Alexander has been synonymous with solid engineering and a commitment to serious cruising yachts.
The Ocean Alexander 520 Pilothouse has a conventional transom. Built on a modified-V hull with cored hull sides, moderate beam, and a shallow keel for directional stability. Several floorplans were available in the 520 over the years. CAPE FAREWELL has the original three-stateroom interior, the master suite forward, and a two-stateroom one double and one bunk. The galley is forward in the salon, and the raised pilothouse is arranged with a centerline helm, direct flybridge access, and port and starboard deck doors. She has a huge flybridge with dinghy storage, wide side decks, well-crafted teak interior woodwork, and excellent storage.
